Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plain Top (SOLD)
You know those Gibson R8’s – pretty damned tasty aren’t they..? Fancy one but aren’t quite so keen on the price tag..? Then take a closer look at this!
Of course, I’m not suggesting for a moment that this is ‘as good as an R8’ as that would be plain daft, but for about 20% of the money, it’s tough to ignore…
This is no ordinary Epiphone either – it’s had a full circuitry upgrade including Switchcraft Toggle, CTS Pots, Orange Drop tone caps, braided cloth cable AND Gibson ‘57 Classic / BurstBucker Pro pickups – a nice blend of both worlds.
Beyond that, it’s had a full fretboard work through to ensure that there are no high, low or choke spots and it’s also had a Gotoh Bridge with 4mm conversion posts installed.
It’s a 2011 model with Cherry Sunburst Plain Top – there’s a small nick under the arm area and a tiny rub near the toggle… I tend not to name guitars, but if I did, this one would be called ‘Patch’!

All guitars receive a comprehensive work over to address any issues. They get a full set up, a new set of good quality strings and come with a 30 day warranty.
Please note: whilst every effort is reasonably made to make this guitar as good, if not better than new, being pre-owned there may be some very light signs of use.
